Present Tense presents ONERISMS, by Iva Drekalovic, curated by Maddalena Iodice

An exhibition by Iva Drekalovic, an artist whose practice investigates the liminal waters of the unconscious. Experimenting with a diverse range of materials, Drekalovic imbues the everyday with surreal visions and ethereal entities, beckoning viewers to step into worlds beyond the physical canvas. Drawing inspiration from the sea, the dreamworld, and the rhythms of daily life, her work offers a vital breath of air in an increasingly saturated world, a subtle murmur of reality's inherent complexity. Within the context of Present Tense we will explore how language and the body might respond to these dream-scapes, expressed through a poetry workshop and group performance.
